Island Hopping in Greece

As a travel consultant I’ve seen huge demand for Greece this year with island hopping and all-inclusives (such as Ikos, Domes and Mar-Bella Collection resorts) amongst the most popular products.

Island hopping doesn’t have to take in multiple islands and involve a month-long trip. Here’s two itineraries below that you could do in just 10-14 days and still return relaxed and rejuvenated!

Greece and Albania. You can fly direct to Corfu from numerous regional airports, catch the ferry from Corfu to Saranda, Albania, (about 45 mins), take the ferry back to Corfu and then onto the quiet island of Paxos (about 2 hours 30 mins).

Skopeles, Alonissos and Skiathos. London Gatwick is just one airport that offers frequent flights to Skiathos and from here you can take the ferry to Skopeles (about one hour) and then on to Alonissos (around 30 mins).The ferry from Alonissos back to Skiathos takes around 90 mins.
